WEB

If you accessed any  information on the Internet then surely you used the web.
Internet is a series of the interconnected network allowing communication of data surrounded by millions of computers worldwide. A global communication network that allows computers worldwide to connect and exchange information. Whereas, Web is the software application or services that run on the internet. It is the collection of documents and resources in the form of web pages. It provides easy access to a huge range of information that is stored on computers around the world.

A lot of people use the terms interchangeably, but the internet is larger than the web. The web uses the hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP), while other components of the internet use different protocols, such as UDP (user-defined protocol), FTP (file transfer protocol) SMTP (simple mail transfer protocol), and NNTP (netnews transfer protocol). These are all terms that were coined in the 1980s.

The Web is the acronym of World Wide Web. It is an information system on the Internet that allows documents to be connected to other documents by hypertext links, enabling the user to search for information by moving from one document to another.

It’s a collection of web sites (data and software hosted on servers and provided with a relatively friendly front end) that allow easy access. You need to have Internet access of course, but that’s the basics. It’s complex largely due to the enormous and growing number of sites available and the impressive variety of subjects available to anyone interested. The publication is easy enough that anyone can do it and the restrictions are few. Some countries impose more restrictions than others of course.
